Unlocking West Coast of North America Port Permit

This port permit is unlocked by charting (Mercator's requests).

Requirements

You should have obtained all of the fame based port permits:

• Northern Europe
• North Atlantic Ocean
• West Mediterranean
• East Mediterranean
• West Africa
• South Atlantic Ocean
• East Africa
• Red Sea
• Indian Ocean
• Caribbean Ocean

and...

• East Coast of Latin America Port Permit, 
• Southeast Asia Port Permit
• Oceania Port Permit
• East Asia Port Permit

You should be summoned by Mercator when you arrive at your nation's capital city (After you obtain your EA port permit).

Where to start

Mercator in Amsterdam.

Instructions

1. Chart the North Sea region (If you haven't already)
2. Receive the first Northeast Passage permit (If you haven't already)
3. Talk to Mercator as many times as necessary to get the West Coast of North America Port Permit (Usually after the Northeast Passage storyline).

Requirements

• 10000+ Adventure Fame. (Tested, but may be lower now)
• Have West Coast of North America permit. (Will not show up until you get this permit from Mercator!)

French and North American Languages are not required but will help you get the quest faster

Update: Ligurian sea charting is no longer required.
