What is an Epic Pirate Feud (EPF)?
The Epic Pirate Feud is a large scale naval combat between Pirate factions.
This battle for power occurs between 3 Pirate factions not belonging to any nation.

Who can join?
- Active Pirates
- Former Pirates
- Non Pirates
Note: The acceleration and maximum speed of small and mid-sized ships are temporarily increased.
Benefits
- Participants may receive rare pirate equipments for participating. Rewards are based off on the amount of points accumulated.
- The toon (Character) who has gained the highest amount of points within each pirate faction can be viewed at the mercenary mediator. If these toon's notoriety exceeds a certain amount, they may claim a special title as well as become eligible to wear special equipment.
- Players affiliated with the winning faction will receive various benefits for 1 week:
- Claiming a special nickname
- Ability to purchase trade goods for free at a certain fixed probability
- Increased amount of ducats received when a quest is completed
Joining EPF
- Watch for the public announcement:
- Speak with the mercenary mediator located in Nassau, Jolo or the capital city of each nation.
The first round of the Feud will start, at earliest, 7 days after the Application Period started. 7 is not a fixed timeframe and will differ every time
- Select the pirate faction you wish to ally with during the application period.
The application period ends on the day before the first day of the Feud.
- After the application period ends, the "Epic Pirate Feud Transport" will be available from any cities, so you can easily reach the Feud sea area.
- Wait for the Feud to begin
- Shoot everything that moves :) just kidding
Note 1: The Feud Period will last 3 hours per round for 3 consecutive days.
Note 2: You will not be able to conduct any normal piracy act or mocks around the area that is selected for EPF.
Note 3: Liners to and from the sea battling area will not be available.
EPF 101
The Lead Ship of each Pirate Faction will appear in the selected sea region.
Assault the Lead Ship and decrease its durability until it retreats to obtain a large number of points.
You can also obtain points by sinking NPC ships that appear in the selected sea area during the Feud.
The Pirate Faction with more points wins after 3rd Round of the Feud wins. If multiple Pirate Factions have the same amount of points, the Faction with fewer participants wins.
Note 1: You can confirm the location of the Lead Ship by using the "Surveying" Skill.
Note 2: Only fleets containing toons that are affiliated with a Pirate Factions may participate in the Feud.
Tips
Concentrate fire on the Lead Ship
During battle, team with your allies to defeat the enemy "Lead Ship" and obtain more points.
Conversely, make sure to defend your side's "Lead Ship" when it’s under attack, so it doesn't have to retreat.
Change up your tactics with "Pirate Feud Equipment"
"Pirate Feud Equipment" can be used once during rounds of the Epic Pirate Feud.
These equipment have effects that differ from normal attacks, such as:
- Temporarily negating attacks towards your allied Lead Ship
- Defeating the enemy Lead Ship with one strike.
Using Pirate Feud Equipment wisely, and at the right time, can greatly impact your battle's outcome.
Pirate Feud Equipment
During the Feud Period, you can equip your Ship with:
- Relief Supplies
- Sabotage Tools
- Special Defense Barrier
- Large Scale Explosive
Get one of these at the dock of the city located within the Feud Sea Region.
Relief Supplies
Can be used to provide provisions for the Lead Ship of your affiliated faction. Effectively stops the enemy assault on your Lead Ship.
Sabotage Tools
Can be used to sabotage the Lead Ship of the enemy faction and decrease its remaining durability.
Special Defense Barrier
Can be used on the lead Ship of your faction to prevent it from being assaulted for a set amount of time.
Large Scale Explosive
Can be used on the Lead Ship of the enemy faction that is not being assault and force it to retreat at one fell swoop.
"Large-scale Explosive" requires you to have at least 1 notoriety.
Notes
- You may only use Pirate Feud Equipment once per Feud round.
- Pirate Feud Equipment on your Ship will be unequipped after you have changed ships or entered a city. Make sure to equip it again before you leave.
- The type of Pirate Feud Equipment that may be equipped depends on your Ship Type
