Adventure levels are used to:- Sail bigger / faster ships
- Adopt better jobs
- Acquire new skills
- Increase vigour
- Increase land battle stamina
- Increase sail speed (Unconfirmed)
- Unlock Port Permits (Combined with Trade and battle fame)
- Court Ranks (Combined with Trade and battle fame)
- Give access to better quests
- Increases the number of quests from the Mediator.
What gives you Adventure Level XP
- Sail!
- Port discovery.
- Collect / Procure (1 hour a day).
- Quest at the adventure Guild or Mediators.
- Maps. Obtained in archives / scholars in a few cities.
- Oxford quests like "Scholarship Orientation", "Human Activity", "Handling Techniques", "Field Techniques", "Shipwreck History".
- Imperial quests like "The will of the people in Panama" at Santiago.
- Sea Charting. Experience reward increases with each successful sea region completion.
- Land Charting. Experience reward increases with each successful landing zone completion.
- Collection at North America landing spots during Thanksgiving event.
Best way to get adventure levels
If you are just starting out
- Be in an ADVENTURE job. You get 2X as much XP and fame.
- Enter cities or you will earn / discover nothing.
- Carry some disguise clothes so you can enter islamic cities.
- Have body language skill and carry some vigour food with you (In case your vigour runs out and you can't talk to the barman).
- Only report your port discoveries to Admiral Dias (Lisbon), Duke Farnese (Seville), Lionel Dockett (London), Duchess of Traetto (Genoa). The reason is because they give better rewards.
Best choice for graduated sailors (Fast level up)
Collection during Thanksgiving day is one the best adventure XP you can get.
You can earn around 50k adventure XP per hour. Ok only one 1 hour a day (And only during 4 days per month).
Final school quests in Sagres also give good XP (Around 8k per quest).

Special Thanksgiving Festival
Thanksgiving is a monthly event for North America.
It starts at 8 pm (server time) and stays on for 4 days. You can collect around 200k XP during this event!
