Arr, listen up, ye scurvy dog! A captain's fortune ain't just gold and glory—it's knowing where to stow yer plunder so it don't sink to the briny deep or get lifted by a cutpurse. Let me chart the holds and lockboxes of this world for ye.
The Captain's Pockets (Inventory)
This be your main sack, holding near everything ye find: gear, goods, charts, and coin. Ye start with room for 50 different items. Mark this well: with rare expansion bags (premium loot), ye can stretch that hold to a mighty 70 slots!
Quick-Access Pouches
Ye have two special sacks for swift use in the heat of battle or a gale:
- Captain's Bag: For yer healing draughts and battle buffs. It grows with each new aide ye recruit and in far-off ports like St. Petersburg.
- The Binder: For yer precious maps and learned books. Starts at 16 tomes and can be expanded.
The Landlubber's Vault (Bank)
When the Crown sees fit to name ye an 8th Knight, they grant ye a vault with 3 slots in the bank. A safe place for yer most prized treasures! Its size swells with yer court rank and by unlocking distant coasts and canals. There be a premium scroll that can add more room, for a price.
Your Private Quarters
Every proper captain needs a cabin! Here, ye can store one of each type of item at first: weapons, ship parts, goods, and more. The real prize? Ye can stockpile up to 999 of each trade good here! With effort and the right furnishings, ye can expand this space greatly, though the furniture wears with use.
Premium Lockboxes
For those with heavy purses, there be two magical holds bought with premium permits:
- The Strongbox: Keeps items in yer inventory safe from plunder and the sea's rot for a time.
- Shared Storage: A massive dock-side warehouse for cargo and gear, but ye can only access it in port, and cargo must be fetched from where ye left it.
So there ye have it, the lay of the land for yer loot! This be but the overview—the shanty, not the full sea shanty.
If ye desire the complete chart—every expansion cost, every unlockin' trick, and every secret to maximizin' yer space—then set sail for the full guide, me heartie!
