Storage: Bank Vault, Quarters, Inventory, Bags ...

 

In this post I'll explain UWO's ways to store your stuff.

Inventory

Your inventory can hold items, equipments, consumables, books, maps and checks.

You start capable of holding 50 different stuff but it can further expanded up to 60 with a inventory expansion bag (Premium consumable).

The red inventory expansion bag allows you to go up to 65.

The Blue Inventory Expansion Bag allows you to go up to 70.

Captain's Bag

Your captain bag can hold consumables.

You start capable of holding 2 different consumables but it can be further expanded by each new aide you recruit and at St. Petersburg. There is also a premium consumable that lets you expand it:

• Bag Expansion Request.

Binder

Can hold books and Maps.

You start being able to carry 16 books / maps (may have more than one copy) and at St. Petersburg. It can be further expanded by a premium consumable:

Bank Vault

A bank "Vault" is unlocked when you reach court rank of 8th Knight. You will receive a bank vault with 3 slots.

It can be further expanded by:

• +5 talking to the bank in Calicut (Needs to have unlocked east coast of latin america first).
• +5 after unlocking West Coast of Latin America.
• +5 after unlocking Panama Canal.
• +1 for each court rank (Up to court rank 25)
• +5 by a premium consumable: Vault Expansion Request.

Quarters

Initially you can store up to 1 items per type (Rank 0):

• Equipments
• Ship parts
• Consumables
• Documents / books
• Trade goods (You can only move them in your quarters )

Quarters may be expanded to up to 5 items per type (Not including lateral redesigns).

You can store up to 999 per trade good type.

These limits can be further expanded with furniture. Note: Your furniture loses 1 durability per use.

Strongbox

Is obtained by a premium consumable called "Strongbox Long Term Permit" and works for a set of time. Numbers 1 and 2 are found in Inventory > Strongbox.

Can hold items, equipments, consumables and protect them from plunder / degrading at sea.

Extra Storage

Is obtained by a premium consumable  called "Shared Storage Long Term Permit" and works for a set of time. Numbers 1 and 2 refers to the the button you will click when talking to the Storage Supervisor NPC (Next to the bank guy)

Can hold CARGO, items, equipments, consumables but are only accessible in a port.

Cargo can only be retrieved in the same city where it was deposited.
