Player Count (On Uncharted Waters Online)

KOEI and Papaya Play are not transparent when it comes to total player count. We can, however, have an idea by looking at steam's number:

Note: These are not the only players. There are players on steam client and players on Papaya's client. These numbers do not overlap.

Sep 2021 update

I estimate around 100-300 active players per week. It doesn't mean they are online all the time nor does it mean they are online at the same time (or time zone).

And yes, there is evidence to support it. Papaya has promised a server wide bonus depending on how many players meet the requirements:

It doesn't mean we have 800+ players as multiboxing is legal. As it's common to have a player with 3 characters (toons), the real number of active players should fall into the 100-300 range.

Mar 2022 update

On mar 31 of 2022 Papaya announced it would give server wide bonus based on the number of players that joined their discord channel:

The result was 763 players:

Again, it doesn't mean the player count is 763. Lots of people did sign up despite not actively playing the game. Nevertheless, the number of players seem to be increasing.
