Well I know how hard it can be to recruit new players to a company, especially if you (or your company) are new.I also know how difficult it is to find some rare piece of equipment or ship, stuff that's not been on captain's ticket for a long time.
Or avoid greedy resellers...
Staying online to CTRL + C, CTRL + V your AD copy? In hope someone finds you?
Boring to death! No, this is not UWO!
What if you could show your ad copy to dozens of real players (hands free)? And actually play the game while your ad brings you people, instead of YOU having to go after them... every time / All The Time?
So that's why I decided to offer advertisement room for my patrons here in this blog.
Here are the conditions:
Conditions
- You must be in the "Your AD or NO ADs!" tier.- Your Ad must be about something rare, unique or scarce (or about your company). Sorry, no ads for SSIPs, NPCs, charm boxes and other easy to find stuff. Merchant chat works just fine for these things.
- Your AD must comply with ALL of Papaya's Terms of Service (TOS), which means:
- No Real World Trade (buying / selling of in game items for real world money).
- No Harassment / offensive words
- No Impersonating PP Staff / CAs
- No Spreading Rumor
- No Scamming
- ...among other rules
- Banners or pages must contain one or more of patron's in-game name (ign) or company name (location), so other players can private message or apply / join. I recommend you include the time you are usually online (Converted to server time).
- No outside game communication is allowed to be provided (no email or other social media contacts, in order to prevent game's rule to be broken).
Perks
- You get 1 banner to be displayed and 1 page here at UWO-HQ to describe your company goals intent (Company AD Only) etc... There may be up to three banners displayed at a time. One above the title, the other in the middle of the content of a post and the last after the post content.- Your banner position is decided by seniority. The longer you are in the "Your AD or NO ADs!" tier, the higher your banner will be.
In another words: If you are the oldest patron (in the tier) your ad will be served at the top of the site, the second will be served among the content and the third will be served after the post.
- Your banner may have up to 240 characters and your page up to 1000 words. Note: The more words your banner has, the smaller they will be.
- Regardless if you post your creative (ad copy) or not, I'll remove google ads from this blog as long as 1 patron sits in this tier.
How to Advertise
- Edit your tier to "Your AD or NO ADs!" or join it if you are not my patron yet.- Post in "Your AD or NO ADs!" tier's comment section your Banner ad copy and page copy.
- Your AD will be up for as long as you stay in the tier but may not be changed more than once per week.
