How to grind Cooking Skill (Cooking Guide)

There is just too many complex/confusing advice on how to grind cooking skill, so I'll focus here on what works faster.

Simple recipes (Palma, Bordeaux or the town's top cook quest reward)
Livestock secrets - Pigs (Porto)
E. Mediterranean cuisine collection (Fagumasta or Venice, after investing 1 million Ducats).

Grinding How to

Please note that the ranks listed here count as base + items. So if you use any + items listed above you will grind faster because you will have access to high rank recipes earlier.

Cooking Rank 1 and 2

Just turn wheat to flour with the Simple recipes book.

Wheat is bought in Porto, Seville, Sagres and many other cities. Make sure to visit my wheat page and choose the city that is allied or territory from your nation.

Cooking Rank 3, 4, 5 and 6 (or up to rank 10)

Just butcher pigs into pork, sausages or ham using the Livestock secrets - Pigs book.

Pigs are bought in a few cities but the best route is Faro <=> Sagres, as both cities have pigs.

This actually a very grinding good spot until you get to rank 10.

Cooking Rank 7, 8 and 9

From this point on you may just grind and make aide food, which sells for around 50k each. Follow the link to learn more.

You should (at least) make it to rank 10.

Cooking Rank 10 and beyond

My favorite recipe is Seafood Pizza. You need the "E. Mediterranean cuisine collection" book from famagust (1m investment)

And the best spot is Porto because it has all the the three ingredients:

1 Wheat (Convert to flour with Simple recipes book)
1 Fish
1 Cheese

Seafood pizza used to sell well but not anymore (Since bonanza boxes were introduced). Just use them as you make more and drop those you don't.

To reset the market just sail west of porto until the white city dot vanishes from your compass (lower right corner).

You can alternatively do TOS (Tuna Olive Steak) which still has some commercial value but will not sell for more than Bagels (Which usually sell for less than 20k each). It will take more time than pizzas though (You will have to fish outside syracuse).
