Grinding How to
You get proficiency every time you get a successful price haggle. So you should do your best to equip a lot of accounts and sociability skill bonus.
Choose a territory city or capital for more haggling chances. Non allied ports will disallow another haggle if your previous one was unsuccessful.
The procedure is simple, select 1 unit of anything at the market keeper, hit the haggle button and, if successful, buy it.
Once in a while your haggling will fail and the haggle button will stay clickable. Just keep haggling until you get it successful.
When the haggle button greys out (you can't click it) just choose the "use item" button and use one renegotiation demand. Start over your grinding.

My Best Grinding TIPs
First of all: Forget about port hopping.
You will never, ever, ever, ever in this lifetime max accounts by port hopping.
I know people that played and nanbaned for years in the old server and never got past R11 accounts.
And still, accounts is one of the hardest skill to grind. It just takes too many clicks (and costs lots of ducats!).
Truth is...most people will never max the accounts skill, let alone refine it.
So I've written my best grinding tips on the accounts skill for my patrons. To have them max / refine accounts like I did.
