You can actually report your discovery to any famous person and you will still get some fame, but a few will give better rewards (Like QMPs).
So who should you report it to?And the answer is... It depends on the type of the discovery.
Each discovery has a certain category like :
- Artwork
- Astronomy
- Bird
- Fossil
- Geography
- Historical relic
- Historic sites
- Insect
- Large creature
- Marine Life
- Medium-sized creature
- Plant
- Port/Settlement
- Religious architecture
- Religious relic
- Small creature
- Treasure
- Weather/Phenomena
I also noted that most "discovery reporting lists" out there are seriously outdated. So I decided to make a new, revised list.
Note that I have bolded Seville and Lisbon because they are probably closer to most people, most of the time at least (Trade Hub).
And by the way, if you want to improve the rewards you get, be sure to have equipped the skill "Reporting Discoveries" (Oxford skill).
