Ahoy, me hearties! Gather 'round and lend me yer ears. I've plundered many a chest in my day, but the treasures ye find after a good scrap with the scurvy dogs of the sea? That's a fine new bounty. They call it Treasure Appraisin', and it's not the same as diggin' up a map. Mark this well.
When ye best an enemy in battle, be it on land or sea, the spoils may include a locked chest. The tougher the foe, the finer the chest ye might claim. But ye can't just crack it open with yer cutlass! Nay, these be special.
The Appraiser's Den
To claim yer prize, ye must take these chests to the one they call the Treasure Appraiser. He keeps his post in the Command Center of any major port. A quick word with the Port Official and a "Ganador Transport" will see ye there. Find him by the cannons.
Do Ye Qualify?
Not every deckhand can partake. Heed these rules:
- Ye must have a name that rings in every port: at least 10,000 Fame in Adventure, Trade, and Battle.
- He'll only appraise so many chests a day. The rarer the chest, the more of yer daily allowance it consumes.
- If yer greed outweighs his limit, ye'll need a rare item called an "Emergency Appraisal Request" to continue.
The Glittering Loot
Why go through the trouble? For the glory of the haul, of course! The Appraiser's chests hold wonders not found in common wrecks. The rarest prizes include:
- Expansion Bags for yer hold (Blue, Red, and standard)
- The mighty Protector of the Seas cannon
- Rare panels and planks for shipbuilding
- The Thunderer Revolver
Ye might also find valuable tools for smiths and shipwrights, special blueprints, and other useful trinkets... though some booty be more common than others. Beware the dross like common charms and basic repair tools—ye didn't fight a sea monster for that!
A Word of Warning
Ye won't find these special chests from Battle Campaigns, Epic Feuds, the Coliseum, or fights within Ganador itself. Save yer powder for the open world.
So, me buckos, that's the lay of the land. A fine way for a proven captain to turn battle into bounty. If ye hunger for the full chart—every type of chest and every last secret of the trade—make way to the complete guide below. I'll show ye how to fill yer coffers to burstin'.
