How to Change your Job to Adventurer

Most beginners will often want to experiment with other job classes. In fact, it is pretty much expected that you change jobs a lot in UWO. Example: You can be in a maritimer job class right now and change to an adventure job or be a trader and change to adventure at any time.

But how do you do it?

If you want to change job to Adventure, you will need a job card. There are basically three ways to get it:

Completing the quest for the job.
Using the Letter of Appreciation of Seafarers.
Receiving the job card from another player.

Once you have the job card just go to any Adventure Maritime Guild and talk to the GM (Guild Master):

If you don't have a job card in your inventory (or if you don't have another job you can change to from the same job class) you won't be given an option to change job:

Please note that when you use the job card you can change to that job anytime without the need for another job card. You just pay a LOT more than you would if you had the card.

Quest or letter?

Most people will think that using the letter is the fastest way. The problem is, you need to use it in a specific fleet NPC at sea... and they might take a lot of time to show up. The letter can also be very expensive for beginners.

If the job quest is not complex, time consuming or require high level of skills, you are better off completing the quest.

If you are looking for beginner's adventure jobs, you need to get the Adventurer's Guild Card. To get this card you should complete the Adventurer guild's plight. It is available in major cities (Including Sagres) and gives access to the following adventurer's jobs:

You can also obtain this card from the quests "First job for the Guild" or "The first thing that the union" but that's probably only for players who already are adventurers (as it has adventurer skill requirements).

Letter
