Requirements:

Chapter 1 (Telescope):
Important: The storyline is generally triggered by just entering the city.
After you start the storyline:
1) Go to Venice. (You may get the ingredients below first but will be unable to use land routes).
2) Go to Amsterdam. Go to the tavern.
3) Buy 10 Apricot Seeds. It may also be available in Venice or Amsterdam's company shops.
4) Go to the tavern in Amsterdam. If you already have the seeds you will have to exit the tavern and enter again.
5) Go to Venice. You may use the Calais => Marseilles land route if you have no trade goods.
Chapter Reward:
Chapter 2 (Lunar Mare):
1) Go to Venice. If you are already in Venice you will need to go to the docks than go back to the city.
2) After some time go to Florence (Take a carriage from Pisa). 60 days at sea is enough (31days is not).
Note: You may get a legacy clue when entering Florence that has nothing to do with this chapter. You may need to leave and re enter to trigger the chapter if you've already met the days at sea requirement.
Chapter Reward:
2x LCCT
Chapter 3 (Justice):
1) Go to Rome Church (Take a carriage from Naples). If you get lectured by "dungeons" you will need to leave the church and enter again to trigger the chapter's storyline.
2) Leave Rome's church and that's it.
Chapter Reward:
1x Custom Hairdresser's tools
Chapter 4 (House Arrest):
1) Go to Florence (Take a carriage from Pisa).
Note: You may get a legacy clue when entering Florence that has nothing to do with this chapter. You may need to leave and re enter to trigger the chapter.
Chapter Reward:
1x Dialogus de systema Cosmicum
Tip for traders
If you are a trader, consider joining a company in Amsterdam (or Venice) with an ALT to sell Apricot Seeds for a premium price. A price higher than nanban goods is still considered fair. You may obtain it in a private farm as well.
