Hidden forces is a new mechanic that offers players a way to enhance their gameplay experience by unlocking unique boosts and abilities.

Hidden Forces Unlock Quest

To access the Hidden Forces system, you’ll first need to complete the quest titled "The Legendary Giant Tree". This quest can be initiated by speaking to the Adventure Mediator in London.

How to access the Hidden Forces System

Once completed, a new feature called Hidden Forces will become available under the Character menu.

In this menu, you can view the stones you’ve obtained and activate the corresponding Hidden Forces. Each stone comes with its own unique effect. For example, the Stone of Life provides a bonus of +1% ship durability in NPC sea battles when activated (at rank 1):

This system allows you to strategically select the Hidden Forces that best suit your gameplay style.

Upgrade Your Hidden Forces

To take your Hidden Forces to the next level, you can use Gemstone Processing Kits.

These kits allow you to modify the Hidden Forces associated with your stones and provide a chance to randomly increase the stone’s rank.

Higher-ranked stones often unlock additional effects or enhance the potency of existing ones. For example, upgrading could grant bonuses like +7% max stamina in dungeons or +10% adventure experience gained:

It’s worth noting that while using a Gemstone Processing Kit can increase a stone’s rank, there is also a chance the rank may decrease.

As the rank gets higher, this risk becomes more significant.

As usual, premium items such as the Master’s Gemstone Processing Kit and Master’s Gemstone Processing Memo can help prevent rank decreases. These protective items are exclusively available from the Treasure Cove and Captain’s Shop.

Acquire the Gemstone Processing Kits

Gemstone Processing Kits can be obtained through various in-game activities, giving players ample opportunities to engage with the system. Some methods to acquire these kits include:

• Browsing the Archives

• Completing and reporting quests

• Making discoveries

• Engaging in sea and land battles

• Succeeding in market haggling

• Riding carriages

The kits are distributed randomly, so consistent participation in these activities increases your chances of obtaining them.
