Unlocking Southeast Asia Port Permit

This port permit is unlocked by an Imperial Quest.

About Imperial Quests

Imperial quests are obtained in your Castle/Palace/Doge Estate or in your nation's consuls around the world.

It works just like a normal quest but you will get Patriot Awards as a reward.

There are around 5 types of quests to choose from but there is always one that is easier (Talking to people or delivering goods to a NPC)

Requirements

You should have obtained all of the fame based port permits:

• Northern Europe
• North Atlantic Ocean
• West Mediterranean
• East Mediterranean
• West Africa
• South Atlantic Ocean
• East Africa
• Red Sea
• Indian Ocean
• Caribbean Ocean

and the East Coast of Latin America Port Permit.

Quest location

Your nation's consul in Calicut (He is around the harbour depending in your nationality).

Recommended Quest: Instruction for supply delivery

Instruction for supply delivery (50 beer to Island of Sumatra Southwest Coast)

Instructions

1. Before you go to Calicut buy or make 50 beer (Made out of wheat from Seville).
2. Talk to your Nation's Consul (they are all in the harbor of Calicut).  
3. Sail to "Sumatra Southwest Coast". 
4. Deliver 50 beer. (You MUST have these in hand, so make sure you have them before making your voyage to Calicut).
   
5. Sail back to Calicut and turn in completed quest. 
6. Sail back to Europe to receive the port permit (Tip: Discover Suez if you haven't already as it is needed for other port permits).

Note: Suez may have disguise requirements (If they are under Ottoman rule).

Alternative Quest: Surveying India and to the East

Doesn't need Beer, but requires more sailing around. Beware of pirates (NPCs) around India if your levels are low.
